The Alameda Harbor Bay Ferry (AHBF) recovered approximately 43.5% of operating costs from passenger fares for the period October/December 2007.

The ferry has continued to exceed the 40% requirement established by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission as a requirement for continued Regional Measure 1 Bridge Toll operating subsidy.

The AHBF recovered approximately 46.2% of operating costs from ticket sales during the first half (July through December) of FY 2007/2008.

This success is due to the continued support of our riders and the fine service provided by our crewmembers. Thanks to all.
