Ferry Meets Passenger Fare Goals for FY 2007/08 – The Alameda Harbor Bay Ferry achieved a Farebox Recovery Ratio of approximately 43% for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008. The “Farebox Recovery Ratio” is the percent of operating costs covered or offset by passenger fare revenue. Some funding agencies require a Farebox Recovery ratio of at least 40% for continued grant eligibility.
